Basilica of Guadalupe & Teotihuacan Private Tour — Miracle, Faith & history

Walk Juan Diego’s path and see the Virgin’s ayate up close

Embark on a timeless journey , where ancient civilizations and deep spiritual traditions intertwine

Experience Mexico’s spiritual heart and ancient power on the Basilica of Guadalupe & Teotihuacan private tour by DreamUS. At Tepeyac, the Basilica of Guadalupe—New Spanish Baroque, built 1695–1709—was raised to enshrine the miraculous image revealed on Juan Diego’s ayate (tilma) after the 1531 apparitions.

Today the circular New Basilica (1976) welcomes millions to offer a clear, continuous view of the original ayate. During the visit, your certified guide leads you across devotional plazas and clearly explains the 1531 apparitions to Juan Diego (Dec 9–12), why a shrine was commissioned, and how the Virgin’s image appeared on his ayate—laying the foundation for the Basilica you see today.

Then uncover Teotihuacan—The City of the Gods: walk the Avenue of the Dead to the Pyramid of the Sun and Pyramid of the Moon (now open to climb), and Temple of the Feathered Serpent, where offerings and obsidian testify to a metropolis that shaped Mesoamerica.

This private tour includes round-trip private transportation, convenient hotel pickup and door-to-door drop-off, free time for lunch (barbacoa, mixiote, quesadillas; meal not included), , pulque, tequila and mezcal tasting at an obsidian workshop, and onboard bottled water, soft drinks, and beer.
